Hey everyone!

I have quite some crypto and I'm thinking about trying out a crypto casino. There are so many sites out there and I don't want to end up playing on a sketchy site. I’ve never really played on one before, so I’m looking for some recommendations from people who’ve actually had some luck with legit crypto casinos.

I'm looking for a casino that’s safe and reliable, with a good variety of games (slots, blackjack, etc.). Fast withdrawals are a must too, and it would be nice if the site also offers bonuses that aren't impossible to actually cash out.

What do you guys think makes a site the best crypto casino overall? I'd also appreciate if you could share some tips about any red flags I should watch out for.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions, I appreciate your help.

I’ve tried a few casinos and I keep going back to Jackbit.com. It’s easy to navigate, and withdrawals are REALLY quick (usually around 15-20 minutes.) There are over 6,000 games to choose from, VPN is allowed, and there's also a 60% rakeback. Plus it's the only crypto casino I know that has a welcome bonus of 100 free spins with no wagering requirements. There's also no KYC required for withdrawals, which is a huge plus.
I wouldn't trust any of those crypto and bitcoin casinos. Fast transactions and anonymity are nice, but the lack of industry oversight is a big red flag. Most of these casinos don’t have proper licenses, and that’s a huge no no when you're playing for real money. It must be fun, but I wouldn’t put in more than I can afford to lose.

Cloudbet has been my favorite for years. i bet on my favorite sports teams from time to time and i like that they offer a wide ranger of sports betting options alongside the regular casino games. plus i’ve never had an issue with security or payout delays. worth checking out if you're looking for a trusted bitcoin casino. but as someone who lives in the us you'll need a vpn

It’s interesting how the appeal of crypto casinos plays into the whole “no rules” vibe of cryptocurrency in general, but that’s also what makes me uneasy. If a site decides to shut down or refuses to pay out there's no authority to turn to, so you're basically on your own.

I had a good experience with 7Bit Casino back in the day, though I don't really play anymore since I decided to take a break from gambling. They've got a huge selection of games (especially slots), and the bonuses are decent if you don't mind the somewhat high wagering requirements. Payouts have always been smooth and fast, which is my biggest concern when using a crypto casino.

I can vouch for Jackbit, I've been playing at this BTC casino for a few months and won over $2k so far. My withdrawals usually take less than an hour. I tried Bitstarz recently and it was such a flop. Even though the games were great, it would take them forever to withdraw my winnings. Plus KYC was really annoying.

Exactly! There are tons of reports on Reddit and gambling forums from players saying casinos refused to pay out their winnings or even blocked their accounts for good. If a casino isn’t licensed, no one’s going to help you.

It's between Metaspins and Stake for me, both casinos are reliable and safe. I like Metaspins for their great selection of high-quality slots from top game providers, and Stake is my favorite BTC casino for live dealer games. I've had better luck with Metaspins so far, but it's also the site where I've played the most. It offers a 100% match up to 1 BTC welcome bonus with reasonable playthrough requirements, so it was a no brainer for me.

Does it have a license?
Yes, Jackbit holds a license from Curacao. Many popular online crypto casinos like Stake, 7Bit, Cloudbet, and BitStarz are also licensed by Curacao as this is a pretty trusted authority in the online gambling world. Having this license means the casino meets important standards for fairness and security.

Thank you all for your responses! Has anyone tried Ignition or Bovada? Both seem pretty popular and legit but I've read mixed reviews.

Bovada and Ignition are essentially the same site, as they share the same parent company. I've heard multiple times that people have had trouble withdrawing funds from them. I've only tried Ignition poker, and as an experienced poker player I have to say that Ignition feels REALLY fishy. It seemed like my opponents knew exactly what I was doing every time. Even in the micro stakes games, everyone plays like they're pros at the highest level. It just doesn't make any sense.

I've been playing slots at Ignition Casino for more than a year and have never had any issues. The game selection on the site is quite small though, and you quickly realize that the slots are lacking after playing for a while. There are only around 300 games available, while most bitcoin casino sites offer thousands of games from top providers like NetEnt, Microgaming, Evolution Gaming, Play'n GO and others.

@chipchip yeah, Ignition's list of bitcoin casino games leaves much to be desired. I love Mega Joker and Blood Suckers slots by NetEnt, but it's a bummer that you can't play them on Ignition. It doesn't make sense to me, especially since it's a somewhat reputable crypto casino site.

What are wagering requirements?
Wagering requirements (playthrough requirements) are basically the conditions that tell you how much you need to bet before you can withdraw any winnings. Let’s say you win $100 from free spins, but there's a 10x wagering requirement. That means you'd have to bet $1,000 (which is 10 times the $100 you won) before you can withdraw your winnings. A wagering requirement of 30x or less is considered low, while anything over 30x is seen as high. Big crypto casino bonuses often come with high wagering requirements attached, so it’s always a good idea to read the bonus terms & conditions. Jackbit offers 100 free spins with no wagering requirements, so whatever you win from those free spins is yours to keep.

Yeah but luckily there are quite a few other sites where you can play those games. Ignition might be good for online poker because it's kinda famous for that, but there are better sites if you want to play popular slots.

Obvious but often overlooked red flag is a lack of license. ALWAYS check for a license before making a deposit. If an online crypto casino has a license, it means that it is being monitored and audited by the licensing authority. These authorities also often require casinos to use certified random number generators (RNGs) and provably fair games.
